ANTIQUE FURNITURE, SUPERIOR MARBLE TOP COFFEE TABLE

Take a look at this beautiful coffee table! It's what they call a marble turtle top table due to the shape that looks like a turtle with the four points that come out as the legs and the rounded ends for the tail and the head. It takes a lot of extra craftsmanship to both carve the wooden frame and to carve the marble as opposed to a regular square or oval shape. The marble is gorgeous and bold! The legs are carved in a fancy shape and then additionally have carving of flowers running down the knees. What a great accent in a special room!. There is a little wood loss around the rim which is hard to see. The marble is perfect. It is a nice big size measuring approximately 52 inches long and 32 inches slide. The height is perfect at 18 inches tall. If you like Victorian furniture this is very fitting.
