SENSUOUS CARVED MARBLE NUDE STATUE
This is such a beautiful carving! The artist did an expert job! Not only is the marble a gorgeous color but the smooth texture combined with the rough make this piece very unique and appealing! This contemporary piece is artist signed and dated 1991. No one can go by without wanting to touch her. Every marble carving is one-of-a-kind. Unlike bronzes which are cast, with marble each stone must be carved. This is very time-consuming and makes each carving unique and unable to be copied. It is one of the most difficult mediums in which to create!
