1918 OIL PAINTING, OLD FLORIDA EVERGLADES, ART GALLERY
This original oil painting on board is a wonderful piece of old Florida history. It is entitled Tamiami Trail with the date 1918. It is also signed by the artist, Barnes and dated 1940 when he painted it. This view shows Tamiami Trail,which is now a huge highway, when it was still a dirt road passing through the Everglades. Definitely a bygone era! This week painting measures approximately 8 x 13" in the original wood frame.
