Antique Civil War era 1865 map of New York

This antique Civil War era map of Manhattan, New York was drawn by cartographer M. Dripps. It's a large view of Manhattan in the Civil War era. It shows some of New Jersey including Elisian fields where the first baseball games were played. On the East River is Blackwells Island that we now know as Roosevelt Island. This map has been handed down to family members. It has been professionally restored and is in conservators frame. A great historical piece from one of the most well known areas of the United States.

We buy Civil War Antiques  and are always looking for the most unusual and interesting. Please contact us.
